Dear live journal, i left you to post in my MYSPACE blog....i'm sorry..now i'm back after years of inactivity....

many things have went on since i've last written here...things i have forgotten, things that i wish i could forget and things that have yet to happen....

seems as if my brain is on a bit of a skid here this week, had another death hit the family...i dunno if i should be surprised..or if i shoulda just knew that it was coming...but this one leaves the Duke clan down another member...and leaving only 4 of us left boys out of our little clan...*sigh*.....

shit just makes you wonder...shit just rambles on...shit just happens...

Pig Vomit will return from the grave yet again...3rd time that he will rise from the grave to create chaos and havoc in the APWF....soo it should be a good time, talking with Bubba...shit is gonna be a grand ole time!!!

I'm kinda just looking for someone to talk to right now...my brain is idle and i can't have that...i'm bummed but i can't show it...er i'm trying to not...cuz i know my mom will freaking worry that i'll go off and do something stupid or who the hell knows....ugh...

eh i'm just gonna head down to the bar and see if there is someone to talk to....i just want some company, yanno??

Had a wrestling show in OIL CITY tonight...well 9/8/07.

if ya weren't there...shit...ya missed one fuck of a show...and a lot of great shit!!!

i currently feel like i got hit by a semi....

Lost Boys Vs Team Tap out....15 minutes of bone crunching and organ relocating destruction...lead to a double count out...

Then THE LOST BOYS made the Save for LumberJack Leroux....well just for a moment...he ended up eating a chair via DDT...then a double chokeslam through a table covered in thumb tacks....

needless to say the very attractive lady i was talking to at intermission wasn't very happy with me at the end of the show....the look of terror and sadness on her face....haha *sigh*

less than one week till the kick off of the Pittsburgh Steelers 2007-2008 season. Something tells me i will be at Malone's more than i am now haha!!!!

lets see...

saturday/saturday night....i was in a shit ass mood for one reason or another...cant remember why so it musn't be that important..i just remember being pissy....soo i was drunk and passed out way early...sorry i missed out on everyone's birthday fun that night.....

sunday.... i ate a lot of china buffet...watched a lot of Voltron and took a nap and just bummed around...nothing too exciting...well untill about midnight when we started sluggin down the Highlife and hit Malone's for a few pitchers....never did make it to bed till about 6 am after i cooked 3 pounds of pasta and whipped up some sauce....haha...damn it was good...

even accomplished a few SHARPIE drawings....i need to have another night where i whip out about 40 drawings or so....only did 4 all weekend....guess i'm in a creative slump...or i just don't have the fuel pumpin the right way lately...

yeah watched a shitload of entourage as well...show is soo damn good

1. Wild Hogs: pretty enjoyable, i wasn't expecting some stellar cinema here, full of hijinx and buddy movie moments...so we enjoyed it
2. Saving Silverman: It had been a while since i last viewed this flick, still funny as hell, Steve Zahn and Jack Black = lotsa hijinx and buddy movie moments, pretty damn enjoyable
3. Super Troopers: one of my personal favorites, lotsa cheeky shinnanigans in this one folks!!
4. Talledega Knights, The Ballad of Ricky Bobby: still hillarious, guess growing up where i did makes it even funnier for me, alot of hijinx and a great buddy movie..

went back to work today, non-eventful...

hello hello hello!!!!!!!!

Sorry i haven't written for a while, but shits been hectic.

Mom got outta the hospital yesterday which is great and she is doing great so that makes it even better!!

work was well work...split most of my week on the road and visitin mom.

thursday night was a grand ole time, probably one of the better 80's nights for me atleast hahaha.......got alot of smokes and bs'd with people...good times all around..didn't dance much but thats cuz i was at the bar talkin most of the night!

friday...urgh CPR training after 80s night always sucks ass but atleast when the training was over my weekend began!!!!

came home took a nap, the hangover headache went away. Woke up...then it became movie night, caught the end of THE WEDDING SINGER, Caught the end of THE REVENGE OF THE NERDS, then proceeded to watch THRASHIN', PUMP UP THE VOLUME and SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT!!!!!!!!

thats why i have the good ole jerry reed set as my music now haha.

woke up today...hung out in my room with everyone, got a shower....went out got beer and rent $ and a snack....just waiting till the party down the hill starts!!

Welcome aboard the train to nowhere my friends....

Wed - Got our water back at the house, went to Malone's to celebrate the most joyful event. Needless to say happy hour was a blast....i was wrecked by 7pm and then kept drinking and well the Pittsburgh Pirates came on the Television. See at malone's they have this deal, if the pirates hit a home run, you get your next drink for TEN CENTS, well those mother fuckin pirates hit 6 home runs.... 6 pints for 60 cents, on top of all the other drinkin...yeah i was in pretty good shape and it was a good god damn time!!!!!!!!

Thurs - worked all day, that sucked because i was ready to be home and start my weekend. (took friday off work) Anyhow, i managed to make it through work even though the night before was a celebration of only god knows what haha....Got home from work around 4pm, played PS2 pretty the rest of the evening..well untill Shawn got here...then we went to 80s night. 80s night was a grandtaculous time as usual. I guess the bar area smells like rancid puke(i wouldn't know) so we hung out more in the lounge area and the dancefloor, which is odd for me...I'm not much of a dancer but for some reason the past 2 weeks or so i've been "cuttin the rug" haha. I didn't get totally smashed but i had a nice buzz goin on and i had a good time...i was fucking drenched with sweat...soo fucking hot in there. I actually slipped and fell cuz some retard was moshing during one of the songs and i hit some wet floor with my cucks and i went down and took some other dude with me. I was like hey sorry bout that buddy, the fucker proceeded to whipe his hand off on my Cobra Kai shirt....yeah...it was that fuckin cunt's lucky day....I remember the face and who he is, next time his face will look like a bowl of mashed potatoes with red food coloring smeared about. I mean i said i was sorry and it was an accident, he pulled a dick move infront of his bobble head girlfriend....yeah......next time i won't be nice Duke. That didn't ruin my night though. I was off having fun and whatnot it was a good time to hang out with TJ and Casey and Shawn, we all danced our asses off and TJ got some make out....then i HIGHFIVED him right there after i saw it...i think it pissed Sarah off haha...Thats two weeks in a row i high fived one of my buddies when they got lucky haha.....Got home from the 80s night, shawn slept on the patio all night...i hung out with cody hijinxin and whatnot then finally hit the bed at 4 or so.

Friday/present - woke up, got some china buffet with TJ and got COMICS!!!!!!!!!!! got all but one of the Jonah Hex books that i needed, Ron is gonna order that in for me, i gotta get me a booster gold #1 yet though, shouldn't be too hard. I downloaded and read it, goooood shit!!! I then went on to play PS2 the rest of the fucking day into most of the night...Put in predator and passed out around 1030 or so and woke up again at midnight. Played more PS2 hung out with cody for a bit when he got home from the work. Then i went back to bed and passed out watching Bloodsport.....it was still on when i woke up....musta started over again haha....but yeah...i haven't showered since 550am on thrusday....i might get on that here indirectly...

Sunday - woke up....played Smackdown....hung out talked about Hijinx and whatnot...ate CiCi's....played more PS2 till i went to sleep

just a busy week for the ole Hurricane...

Did a lot of cleaning in my storage unit....got rid of a lot of shit and got a whole load of shit to sell off either at the mall or on ebay...a bunch of junk i no longer need nor will i need 10,20,30 years from now....

this weekend is Cody's birthday bash weekend. Its for sure gonna be a good times fun weekend. 80's night tomorrow night...dunno which one its his choice. Roller Derby on saturday.

I think some polish platters are in the near future as well.

work has kinda been shitsville lately but hey...thats why they call it work. Haven't really talked to many people for a while guess its part of the summers almost over hibernation then again its not like i talk to a lot of people begin with.

tuesday marked the 8 year anniversery of my friend Rob passin away, i was kinda bummed most of the day....angry..the rest of the day....even had a tear or two in my eyes but i choked it all back....Rob was/is a pretty damn important person in my life way back when...we came up together in the wrestlin biz and busted our asses for the few short years we shared together in the biz....we actually got to work a match or two on some of the ring rentals we did for a couple of promoters...a lot of happy memories. It is definatly wierd being back for my second run with out him around....Bubba told me he has a tape from training back in the day thats hours and hours long of me and Rob training....i kinda would like to see it....it'd be hard but it'd be nice to take a peak back into my past and see some things i may have blocked out or forgotten over the years...Rob, where-ever ya are, I miss ya man, hope to see ya again down the road.

September 8th In Oil City PA come cheer on PIG VOMIT and FANG aka THE LOST BOYS as they take on TEAM TAP OUT for the APWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP!!! PLUS COME SEE THE ECW/WWF/WWE SUPERSTAR THE BLUE MEANIE....its gonna be a great fuckin show people...come out and support Indy Wrestling!!

this past weekend was pretty damn enjoyable..

had the day off on friday, didnt do much of anything...just kinda bummed around and relaxed..good times indeed....friday night i went to a party in Warrendale....there i visited with my friend Ashley from Cal-U, it was pretty good to see her again..I also saw nick, was good seein him too. coulda had free beer but i didnt drink....i dunno i was bored there...no one to really hang out with and get into some hijinx with haha....oh well it was still good catchin up.

Saturday i woke up pretty damn early...but i ended up passing back out later on and slept till bout 4 or so haha had a nice nap....went to Arby's and got the 5/5.95...had left overs for later...which is always good haha...Went down to Malone's to watch the steelers game...it was a good time....i got shitfaced drinkin pitchers can't argue with that...had a shot or two...got a free pitcher from the bartender...yeah...haha...needless to say we moved to the other side of the bar when the HIP HOPPIN night started....i know i played my usual songs on the jukebox...then at some point i staggerd up home and was all drunken on the internet...thats always a good thing. either way it was a good ole time.

Didn't do much on sunday....hell i dont remember most of it...soo i probably didnt do anything important....i made some food and just relaxed.

Tomorrow is cleaning out the storage unit night...gonna get ride of some shit and gather up anything that i can sell and stash that money back towards a PS3 or XBOX 360.....or just drink on it haha...

New season of Entourage is funny as hell...laughed my ass off watching that all day friday.

New season of Heroes comes out september 24th...CAN'T WAIT!!!

All New Booster Gold comes out wed....i'll probably pick that up...it may just spark an interest in comics again...not that i've lost interest..i just dont feel like dishing out a lot of money on em....i have a lot of shit i could download as well but i'll purchase the booster book.

where to start....

eh....this isn't gonna be one of my usual updates...

think i refucked my shoulder last night....hopefully i just got it stretched out good....either way its not feeling too great....and today i was at kennywood all day for work and i couldn't pass up the rides haha....soo yeah....my shit is crankin' but good...urgh....

got a call today while at kennywood as well.....didn't get the job that i interviewed for....guess i'm dissappointed but it came down to me and someone else and i guess the supervisor there though this person's personality matched his own more than mine.....eh, his loss....probably some schmuck who won't be able to take controll and whatnot...either way guess it's not in my cards right now soo just gotta keep on keepin on and whatnot....

also found out last night that i may have to wrestle on the 18th....i was originally not on the card...due to my shoulder injury....and i was to be resting and healin up for the show in tennessee but that show got canned.....and frank has to possibly work on the day of the show and i guess i'm the only other crazy mother fucker that'll get into a wrestling ring filled with 50,000 thumbtacks....hope stuff works out so frank can work the show...i really wanna see some roller derby....but maybe i'll still be able to do both er sumthin....

eh no time to sit and wallow and be all bummed over a fucking job...atleast i still have one and i'll be getting another raise in 2 months and shit like 5 weeks paid vacation as well haha...

got alot of wrestling shows lined up in the near future as well.

yeah soo september 18th is cody's birthday party night thingamajigger, thats the main reason i was skippin the show....but the show starts at noon...i should be able to do both.....total rad saturday for me!!!

ok here we go

ROCK AND ROLL!!!!

1. Interviewd for a new position at work...i get this job...its 25k/yr to start..thats a little more than what i make now...oh yeah and i only have to work 9 months a fuckin year hahaha...soo that means get me an 83 dautsun pickup...a pushmower,gascan and weedwhacker...then head down to Mt. Lebo and mow som grass haha!!!! gotta love it. Thats if i get this position and everything...if not i'll be up for a raise in october that'll put me over the 25K mark and well i'll still have to work all year around....either way i'm pretty happy with the job situation

2. Went to the new 80s night at Peter's Pub...it was pretty alright...i was kinda bored..but then again i went alone but i ended up running into a few people there to BS with...unfortunatly...i did not see my Boy Jerome lurkin around Oakland...for real..80s night can suck ass and Jerome will be outside and it becomes the best 80s night hahaha. The Drink specials were aight..i mean i drank Dale Jr Beer...fuckin Bud but it was 1.50...and the Dollar well drinks were nice...i could see myself getting majorly fucked there on long islands...especially if i get a DD and have off on friday haha...it was nice to hear Lou spinnin again...havein a DJ play a request for ya..and a NEW yet familiar playlist haha. I hope Both Belvedere's and this Peter's Pub 80s nights stay strong...it'll be nice to have a choice on a thursday...and when yer burnt out on one...go to the other...It was nice being back in oakland walkin to 80s night...kinda nostalgic....plus when college is back in...yeah Scenery!!!

3. had a pretty sweet fucking nap today...passed out watching wrestlemania 6 and woke up it was still on....i won't post any match results...don't wanna spoil it for the viewers.

4. I have no idea what this weekend has in store for me...probably not gonna drink......MUCH haha...i know the steelers play on sunday at 8 soo ROCK ROCK ON!!! how bout this fuckos and fuckettes out there in reader land....an early midweekish update....

interview tomorrow...some reason i got a bad feeling about it....yeah the job sounds great and all....and i'd get mad time off and whatnot....but i have to also weigh the options on what i'm gonna be giving up.....and then i rememeber what i won't have to put up with...but i will have a new shitlist of fuck to put up with.....new supervisor and whatnot...hrmmmm dunnno...work is pretty fucking stable right now....fuck fuck fuck....

also realized some things today and i am completely fine with em too, kind of depressing but hell yanno what shit can be worse and its not soo keep on keepin on Hurricane Duke and leave nothing but mass destruction in your wake!

i slept in the pool for about 2 hours today, that was hella sweet...passed the fuck out on a raft...woke up...had to piss...i coulda slept there another hour or so and been completely content...

wrestling show in Tennessee got canned...kinda disappointed and bummed but yanno what....glad i didn't have my hopes up TOOOOOO high....kinda knew what to expect and whatnot....

got a show on the 18th but i'm opting out of that show cuz its Cody's Birthday....i dunno if i could pull off wrestling and then roller derby all in one day and be able to live haha...soo Bros before the ring rats haha

Yeah,

friday night...got drunk really fast, ate some hella great food...drank some more and passed out...gotta love work parties and whatnot. always a grand ole time!!!!

woke up at 655AM saturday morning, had a smoke and proceeded to drive home....got back to the burgh hung out with cody and tiff and watched the Rick Sebak specials on the tv...

i'd love to be able to go back in time and spend some time in da burgh back in the 40s and 50s and see all the night clubs and catch a Greys game and whatnot...enjoy a ball game at forbes field.

last night hit up the Brillow Box with shaun, it was an alright time. actually i had a lot of fun.
drank some dogfish it was good pretty hoppy...then i drank a lot of Sly Fox - Read Seamus, it was hella fucking awesome. i drank alot of that haha then some Ling...hit up Ruggers bar....it was cool..got some free chips and had more lings...i always hear about that place being packed...but i've been there twice and its been dead...hrmmm

i've been hearing great things about Bar 11 down in the southside..i gotta hit that place up..

anyone wanna drive me down there next weekend?? hrmm....i'll give ya a hug or two!!!

yeah soo i'm watching my parents' house fer the week up in RV....

the drive to work is a hell of a lot nicer....

its nice and peaceful up here.......almost too quiet and peaceful at times...but eh...thats why i have my sweet 1999 sony Discman to entertain me with the new 3 inches of blood cd....hahaha

had a training for work today...on hate crimes and violence and gangs.....it coulda been presented and taught soo much differntly and better i think....i was hoping it woulda been like the classes i had in college but the shit was lulling me to sleep...i mean the trainers did a good job...but i dunno...i dunno if i coulda did a better job presenting soo enough bitching about the pace and material hahaha......there is always this lady from one of the other school there....and for some fucking reason she is always in the same trainings as me...and she annoys the fucking shit outta me..... hey lady, we're not here to save the fucking world..and we're not gonna save the fucking world no matter how hard we try....no one will change unless they want to, you cannot force it on anyone...bla bla bla bla bla enough of that rant....more or less her blabber held up the training and stopped any fucking headway the trainers were making.....

i had some horrible road rage on the way home....seemed like everyone was going 15 miles an hour in front of me...fucking white heads and trucks going through towns and up hills...fucking construction....i just wanted to get home and jump into the fucking pool hahaha

hrmm i dunno what im gonna do tomorrow night...probably just stay back up here again..i mean why not... Belvedere's hasn't been entertaining as of late....but alas... Peter's Pub is starting an 80's night...and i shall be checking that out frequently...free to get in... cheap drinks...and DJ EZ LOU....i mean...yeah he plays the same shit every week but he will change it up from time to time and will play a request if yer cool and get him a drink haha....the dude at Belvedere's plays the same tired early 90s shit every week..and is horribly affraid to play anything new in fear of people not dancing.....its one of those things ya learn by trial and error...then again maybe some people like the same tired ass early 90's music at 80's night...i know i don't...aight enough about that hahaha

i think jumping into the pool and swimmin around during a thunderstorm calmed me down...its kinda cooler outside...like 70 somethin...and the rain made the water cold soo it was nice and refreshing and calming haha

my headache i had earlier went away...i got some energy drinks haha

my fuckin shoulder is thumpin pretty good today...thats my fault....tossin cinderblocks and lumber around.....but someone had to set an example and take the lead....and that someone was me ahahahaha....

just to say it again...i had one fuck of a birthday weekend...thanks again to all the rad people that celebrated with me!!!

time to update after the big birthday extravaganze blow out to end all blow outs hahahah fuck that it'll be big birthday extravaganza again in less than 1 full year haha

thursday...

Happy Hour after work....got pretty darn tipsy if ya know what i mean down at the casa de Malone's
good times, me shawn and cody did some booozin haha, Jen hooked me up with a sweet jager bomb of some sort of concauction...."no puking in the bathroom" is what she said when she gave me the shot hahaha needless to say it went down pretty damn smooth haha...

after happy hour...i passed out for a few hours

then it was 80s night!!!!!!!

got a lot of shots there, i know i got some double snakebits, got me some jager bombs, got me some redbull and tequilla....and a lot of beers and some more shots MUWAHAHAHA!!! Probably explains why i remember very little of 80s night....i know i had fun....didnt talk to any ladies..then again i never do haha...i was too busy doin the hijinks and going on random adventures inside of belvedere's hahaha. I just know that i had one fuck of a grand ole time, many thanks to those who were there and had some good times with me!!!!!

Went to the 31st street pub, saw lizzi, grand times once again!!! Wish she coulda been in town longer than one night, but sumthin is better than nothin!! Me her and Cody drank it up...i drank the molsons all night...sooo damn goood!!!! The bands were pretty damn good too!!! Brandon SHowed up and hung out too which was pretty cool as well!! Probably the funniest part of the night there was STIPPED SHIRT MAN, JAMMIN OUT...hahaha it was some old dude, hahahaha GIT EM STRIPPED SHIRT MAN!!!! All in all Friday was most Excellent, another good night with some great god damn people!!!!

Sunday...oh yeah today....

Gonna pack up my shit and get ready for another vacation, gonna fade into the middle of no where for the greater part of the week....swimmin pool and a 58inch Flatscreen TV for my Viewing Pleasure....Wrestling show at the Rose Inn, gonna be a good time...i can't really do much...fucking shoulder....i was just gonna go and work and do whatever and suffer through the pain...but the chance of re-fucking my shoulder or fucking up someone else cuz my shoulder isn't 100% is not worth it, i'll have fun no matter what and kick a shit-ton of ass haha

my shoulder isn't really hurtin that much...atleast like the bone isnt hurting....the damn muscles are all tight and sore...but they're gettin better daily...just moving and useing my arm/shoulder is helpin..
